Proxxi Technology seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to innovate safety devices in our Gastown office. Your expertise will shape the future of wearable technology for industrial workers. As our sole Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for every mechanical facet of Proxxi products, ensuring they meet rigorous standards.
This hands-on role requires creating detailed designs from concept to final production while working closely with our CTO and external contractors. Your contributions will directly impact the safety of workers globally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop production-ready CAD designs from
- Analyze tolerances for complete device assemblies
- Integrate waterproofing solutions for product reliability
- Design and maintain injection mold tooling
- Oversee mechanical testing and quality assurance processes
- BSME degree; MSME is a plus
- 7+ years' experience in wearable device development
- Proven track record in NPI at contract manufacturers
- Familiar with Fusion 360 or Solid Works
- Background in waterproof mechanical systems
