As the sole Mechanical Engineer in Proxxi's Gastown office, you'll play a key role in developing wearable safety solutions. This hands-on position requires converting design concepts into production-ready CAD designs, while collaborating closely with our CTO and external contractors. Your efforts will ensure Proxxi products meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed CAD designs for production

• Analyze device assembly tolerances for accuracy

• Integrate waterproofing solutions to enhance reliability

• Design and maintain injection mold tooling

• Oversee mechanical testing and quality assurance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Master's is a plus

• 7+ years in wearable device development

• Proven NPI experience with contract manufacturers

• Proficiency in Fusion 360 or Solid Works

• Familiarity with waterproof mechanical systems
