As a key member of Photonic's interdisciplinary team, you will bring your expertise in photonic layout design to create scalable quantum computing solutions. You will work with advanced CAD tools and collaborate with manufacturers and engineers to integrate systems effectively. Your insights will guide research in silicon photonics while mentoring your team on industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize large-scale photonic integrated circuits
• Implement innovative design solutions with CAD tools
• Generate software and scripts for design goals
• Collaborate with engineers on integration issues
• Contribute to the IP portfolio and conduct R&D efforts
Requirements:
• Master’s or PhD in engineering or applied physics
• 3+ years of professional experience in photonic layout design
• Expertise with KLayout, Cadence, or similar tools
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB programming
• Experience in foundry tape-outs and PDK usage
