Join our Vancouver team as a Structural Marine Engineer, where you will focus on designing and maintaining complex marine structural systems. The ideal candidate will have over five years of marine engineering experience and a strong background in structural analysis, CAD development, and compliance with industry standards. Your work will significantly impact a diverse range of marine projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform structural calculations for marine equipment and structures
• Prepare detailed plans and specifications for marine projects
• Conduct dynamic and static structural analysis under varying conditions
• Plan and oversee field assessments and data collection
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design QC reviews
Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. eligibility
• 5+ years of experience in marine engineering
• Proficient in CAD and design software
• Knowledge of building codes and standards
• Strong communication and client interaction skills
