Electrical Estimator at Fluor

Fluor Canada is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator to develop and refine project estimates on mid-sized to large projects. You will be responsible for utilizing industry-specific estimating methods and leading comprehensive reviews while mentoring junior estimators. This position emphasizes the ability to ensure accuracy in E&I material take-offs and cost captures, aligning with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop estimate plans and coordinate with project teams

• Perform peer reviews of project estimates as assigned

• Coach others on estimating practices and Baseline Centric Execution

• Create detailed E&I work packages aligned with WBS

• Validate vendor quotes for major E&I equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years' experience in industry-recognized estimating systems

• Two years of field experience in estimating, construction, or project controls

• Strong technical and communication skills

• Knowledgeable in mining project estimating

• Active participation in estimating professional societies
