Hardware Project Manager

Position: Hardware Project Manager at Motorola Solutions
Lead hardware projects as a Project Manager with Motorola Solutions. Oversee scoping, planning, and execution of various hardware initiatives with a focus on quality delivery and innovation.

This experienced role requires early scoping, planning, and execution of medium-sized hardware projects. You'll manage cross-departmental teams, create detailed project schedules, and coordinate with vendors. Your expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is crucial for successful project management in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage small to medium-sized hardware projects from scoping to closeout

• Create comprehensive project schedules and cost estimates

• Monitor project progress, issues, and mitigations actively

• Coordinate with manufacturing for prototype production

• Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• 4+ years in hardware project management

• Solid understanding of NPI and Product Lifecycle Management

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Familiarity with Agile PLM and Atlassian tools a plus
