Substation Telecom Engineer

The Telecom Engineer-in-Training role at Stantec focuses on the engineering and design of communication systems for substations. You will develop engineering documents, ensuring compatibility with advanced technologies and facilitating seamless project delivery. Your collaborative mindset will help integrate solutions across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare engineering reports and documentation
• Develop telecom network designs for grid operations
• Coordinate with P&C, SCADA, IT teams
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of engineering designs
• Interface directly with clients for technical support
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• EIT eligibility with EGBC or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience desired
• Familiarity with telecom technologies
• Proven organizational and time management skills
