This role is vital in supporting the Operations Support Manager with responsibilities including geotechnical monitoring and advanced soil testing. You will independently conduct operations, participate in safety meetings, and assist in implementing HSSE policies across various settings, including remote locations. Travel may be required, with shifts up to 12 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow and promote HSSE policies for workplace safety
• Conduct geotechnical monitoring and reporting
• Perform soil sampling and compaction tests effectively
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in the field
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather critical information
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma in geological, civil, or mining fields
• 5 years of industry experience preferred
• Current First Aid Certification required
• Class 5 Drivers License with clean Driver’s Abstract
• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
