Electrical Engineer-in-Training at WSP

Based in Vancouver, this position is ideal for recent graduates in Electrical Engineering, especially from UBC. You will assist in projects that manage water, ensuring safe and sustainable municipal infrastructure. Collaborating with experienced engineers, you will participate in all project phases, enhancing your technical skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support EIC design for treatment plants and pumping stations

• Contribute to power distribution and control systems design

• Assist in preparing technical drawings and reports

• Review contractor submissions and shop drawings

• Conduct supervised field inspections and commissioning tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UBC

• Registered or eligible as an EIT with EGBC

• Minimum 2 years of experience in EIC design

• Knowledge in power distribution and PLC systems

• Attention to detail and teamwork skills
