This position involves supporting underground mining efforts through technical expertise in geotechnical engineering. You will monitor ground conditions, perform field inspections, and collaborate with site personnel to ensure safe operations. The role requires independent work in an active mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical assessments for underground ramp development

• Develop and optimize ground support designs based on data

• Monitor ground conditions and ensure safe mining practices

• Perform field inspections and data collection for stability assessment

• Analyze geotechnical data for operational guidance

Requirements:

• Degree in Geotechnical or Mining Engineering

• Professional engineering designation (P.Eng.)

• Experience in underground mining geotechnics

• Knowledge of ground support design and stability

• Ability to work effectively in a mining environment
