Accelerator Physicist - Electrical Systems

In this unique role at Basilisk Industries, you will focus on developing the electrical systems vital for high-power electron beam applications. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will oversee prototype development from concept to hardware, ensuring timely component production and lab testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical aspects of electron beam systems

• Implement high voltage and pulsed power solutions

• Manage prototyping efforts with external suppliers

• Optimize data acquisition and telemetry operations

• Address instrumentation control challenges in electrically noisy settings

Requirements:

• Degree in electrical engineering with 5 years’ experience

• Strong background in high voltage PCB design

• Familiarity with power semiconductors with synchronization needs

• Experience using SPICE/LTspice or similar for simulation

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
