RF Test Engineer

Position: RF Test Engineer for K2 Space
K2 Space is seeking an RF Test Engineer to drive avionics testing for cutting-edge satellite systems. This role combines designing test hardware and developing automation software in a collaborative environment.

As an RF Test Engineer at K2 Space, you will play a crucial role in developing production-quality test systems for our Mega satellite constellation. Your expertise in RF test equipment, software development, and project management will be vital as you lead multidisciplinary test campaigns. Collaborate closely with Electrical and RF Engineering teams to validate designs, establish test requirements, and meet critical project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and fabricate avionics test hardware

• Develop reusable test automation software in Python, C++, or Rust

• Execute production tests to match customer requirements

• Manage satellite subsystem test campaigns

• Create data acquisition systems for integrated testing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in electrical or relevant engineering

• 2+ years in test hardware design and software management

• Proficient in programming with Python, C++, Rust

• Familiarity with RF test equipment like VNAs
