Water & Wastewater Engineer

Tritech Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Water & Wastewater Engineer to lead the design, procurement and construction coordination of treatment plants and pumping stations. The role requires a highly organized, detail‑oriented professional capable of managing multi‑disciplinary projects in fast‑paced environments. The position involves frequent travel to the Langley head office and job sites and requires a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

• Oversee the design of multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Review drawings of sub‑consultants and suppliers to identify errors and omissions.
• Coordinate and relay design information to discipline leads, project coordinators and field staff.
• Evaluate technologies and perform design checks.
• Prepare process layouts and review detailed fabrication drawings.
• Develop detailed construction cost estimates and schedules.
• Draft technical specifications, contract terms and conditions.
• Procure equipment and materials on time and within budget.
• Write proposals ensuring all RFP requirements are met.
• Maintain project documentation (RFI, CCO, CO, shop drawings, etc.).
• Ensure construction and installation meet company and contractual quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and testing reports.
• Provide a safe work environment through continuous training and development.
• Demonstrate accountability, adaptability and analytical thinking.
• Operate with honesty, integrity and respect.

• 3+ years experience designing and constructing treatment plants in Canada.
• Highly detail‑oriented with a track record for identifying errors.
• Proven experience overseeing projects from design to construction to commissioning.
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
• Experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Knowledge of building and plumbing codes.
• Working knowledge of architecture, civil and structural engineering, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation and controls.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized and motivated to carry out a variety of duties.
• Aptitude for problem‑solving and innovative thinking.
• Willingness to learn on and off the job.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation; the Langley office is not accessible via public transit and some travel may be required.
