Piping Designer at Fluor

Become a vital part of Fluor Canada as a Piping Designer, contributing to innovative engineering solutions within a dynamic work environment. You'll focus on 2D and 3D piping layouts while collaborating closely with engineers.

We are seeking motivated drafters or designers with a strong background in piping to support major projects. The role demands four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You'll leverage technical knowledge to produce designs, maintain piping specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pipe wall thickness calculations per ASME B31.3

• Develop and maintain piping material specifications

• Prepare technical documentation for procurement

• Coordinate material compliance with engineering teams

• Review drawings for compliance and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:

• Four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent

• Four years of related experience or eight years non-degreed

• Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Intermediate proficiency in computer software
