Energy Management Intern at YVR

Kick-start your career with the Vancouver Airport Authority as an Energy Management Intern. Collaborate on meaningful projects, focusing on energy conservation and greenhouse gas savings within a flexible and innovative work environment.

This co-op opportunity is designed for students in their 2nd to 4th year of an engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s program. You will assist in implementing the  Strategic Energy Management Plan while supporting other key departmental initiatives. You’ll be directly involved in projects related to energy conservation and emissions reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with energy management initiatives for VAA’s Strategic Plan

• Support project development and analysis on emissions reduction

• Conduct data analysis and create communication materials

• Help implement an energy engagement program for tenants

• Contribute to additional Climate and Environment projects

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a BC University co-op program

• Experience in energy data analysis and managing data sets

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Proficient in Office 365, especially Excel

• Ability to liaise with various stakeholders
