Join GHD's Vancouver office as an Environmental Engineer, specializing in Contaminated Assessments and Remediation. This hybrid position involves client interaction, data analysis, and the preparation of technical environmental reports.
We're seeking an Environmental Engineer or Scientist with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of experience in environmental consulting. You'll work on diverse projects across industries such as municipal infrastructure and oil and gas.
Your role will involve developing project scopes, analyzing data, and assisting with environmental investigations and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project managers on scope development and scheduling
• Compile and interpret data for environmental assessments
• Prepare technical reports for senior review
• Assist in developing remedial options for contaminated sites
• Implement field investigations and monitoring programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Earth Sciences
• Minimum 3 years of environmental consulting experience
• EIT or GIT designation within BC
• Understanding of BC Contaminated Sites Regulation
• Strong English communication skills
