Peter Lucas Project Management is looking for a Senior Production Lead Engineer to facilitate the transition to full-scale mining production. This role involves coordinating efforts with various teams, including Geology, Maintenance, and Technical Services, to ensure safety and productivity in mining operations. You will lead planning initiatives and enhance operational effectiveness within a supportive, mentor-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate short- and long-term production planning activities
• Lead transition strategies for production stability
• Develop mine schedules in response to operational needs
• Evaluate production performance and suggest improvements
• Lead multidisciplinary team collaboration for site activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
• Registered or eligible for P.Eng in BC
• Over 7 years of mining engineering experience
• Strong underground mine operations knowledge
• Proficiency with tools like Mine Sched and Excel
