WSP is seeking a System Safety Specialist to enhance safety measures for transportation systems. You will contribute to hazard identification, risk assessment, and compliance documentation while working primarily with internal teams. This position encompasses technical writing, collaborative efforts, and applying safety standards to ensure reliable rail systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain hazard management processes
• Collaborate with project teams for safety documentation
• Assist in hazard identification using recognized methodologies
• Review safety evidence for compliance with regulations
• Prepare System Safety Reports and technical documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years in system or technical safety
• Familiarity with risk assessment methods
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Transport Canada regulations
