WSP is actively seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) for its Hydropower and Dams team based in Vancouver. This role involves engaging in innovative designs for renewable energy projects that benefit communities and support sustainable infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a background in Civil Engineering and exposure to structural engineering principles, especially regarding concrete and steel structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to feasibility studies and engineering designs

• Support design analysis of reinforced structures

• Participate in site inspections and field investigations

• Assist in developing technical drawings and specifications

• Prepare engineering calculations and technical reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Membership with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia

• Exposure to structural engineering principles

• Knowledge of hydropower projects is an asset

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
