In this senior role, you'll support WSP’s Resources subsector, offering your extensive knowledge in instrumentation and controls for new and existing projects. Collaborate with various engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that comply with safety and quality standards. This role operates at the intersection of digital technology and traditional engineering, ensuring project success from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design of instrumentation and control systems
• Oversee control philosophy and system architecture
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Apply advanced automation and digitalization technologies
• Provide technical mentorship and quality reviews
Requirements:
• 18+ years in electrical engineering for heavy industries
• Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation eligibility
• Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA
• Experience in industrial commissioning and troubleshooting
