In this permanent full-time position, you will lead design processes and enhance project proposals. Focus on geometric design, prepare detailed packages, and develop digital models for infrastructure projects. Providing mentorship to junior engineers and ensuring quality control are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design road and highway infrastructure geometrically
• Create preliminary and detailed design packages
• Develop 3D digital models of design proposals
• Prepare cost estimates based on quantity take-offs
• Review work for quality control compliance
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering, P. Eng registered in BC
• 7+ years in road and highway design
• Proficiency in CAD/Civil 3D software
• Experience with TAC and AASHTO design standards
• Willingness for short-term travel within Canada
