As a Senior Water Treatment Specialist
, you will be responsible for working within the engineering and water treatment optimization team to provide senior-level input and support for the design, construction, commissioning and optimization of water treatment systems.

• Provide senior-level input and operational support for the design, construction, commissioning and optimization of water treatment systems.
• Provide direction and assist the performance of the water treatment, remediation and reclamation projects
• Supports risk analysis with project management
• Build and maintain client relationships through ongoing communication and understanding of client goals
• Travel to potential and existing work sites to interface with on‑site staff, vendors, customers, and regulatory personnel
• Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise
• Develop and update documentation including operational manuals, drawings and site‑specific information for the safety, operations, and maintenance of the site
• Monitor and promote system environmental health and worker safety compliance
• Identify and recommend improvements to operations to ensure assigned functions are efficient and cost effective
• Take proper safety precautions, anticipate unsafe circumstances, and act accordingly to prevent accidents
• Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise
• Interface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals
• Mentor and provide technical training to junior team members and operators
• All other duties as required

• Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, process, or environmental engineering
• Professional Engineering designation required

• 7+ years of previous experience working water treatment and consulting
• Previous experience in industrial wastewater projects
• Ability to work effectively with team members as well as lead independent projects
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
