Dometic is seeking a passionate Mechatronics Product Designer to join our Marine team. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you'll navigate the complete product development cycle, contributing from concept to production. Engage with cross-functional teams to design pioneering systems like steer by wire, empowering boaters worldwide to experience safe and reliable maritime solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead subsystem design and trade studies

• Create 3D models and conduct stress analysis

• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems

• Collaborate on product specifications with engineering teams

• Draft design documentation including drawings and specs

Requirements:

• University degree in Mechatronics or related field

• 4+ years of electromechanical product development

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Creo

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and electrical systems

• Knowledge of battery management systems and test equipment
