Senior Marine Structures Engineer

This full-time role involves acting as the technical authority for marine and coastal projects, including quay walls, jetties, and marine piling. You will manage the field review program, ensuring all marine works conform to design documents while applying your engineering expertise in real-time project assessments. With a focus on substantial site-based construction supervision, this position allows for direct involvement in crucial marine infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Engineer of Record for marine structures
• Document field reviews and confirm construction conformance
• Assess effects of deviations on structure capacity
• Review contractor submissions for compliance with design
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee marine inspection planning
Requirements:
• 15+ years of marine engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
• Professional Engineer registration preferred
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methods
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts
