Arcadis seeks an experienced Senior Resident Engineer to enhance our Vancouver team. This role demands a technically proficient leader with extensive on-site experience in complex infrastructure projects, especially within marine, coastal, and heavy civil sectors. As the primary engineering representative, you will be responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring technical integrity, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead site engineering and inspection teams effectively

• Chair site and coordination meetings with stakeholders

• Conduct and document field reviews and inspections

• Administer construction contract technical elements

• Oversee site safety, health, and quality procedures
Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant site-based engineering experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering

• Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility) is preferred

• Experience as Engineer of Record during construction phases

• Familiarity with heavy civil and marine construction codes
