In this senior role within Sila's Capital Projects team, you'll leverage your extensive experience in process design and execution to develop advanced manufacturing facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing bulk material handling systems, executing design projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be crucial for achieving performance specifications and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main contact for process engineering inquiries

• Execute and close design project gaps effectively

• Develop essential Heat and Material Balances (HMBs) and PFDs

• Lead safety deliverables and HAZOP recommendation closures

• Identify and address gaps in project execution and operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• 6+ years in process design and operations experience

• Proficiency with ASPEN, HYSYS, or similar tools

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards

• Willingness to travel for project-related activities
