As a Civil Engineer-in-Training in WSP's Hydropower team, you will contribute to vital projects shaping Canada's renewable energy landscape. This role emphasizes collaboration on diverse initiatives while enhancing your engineering acumen in technical design and structural analysis.
You'll work with specialists to develop practical solutions for communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct feasibility studies for renewable energy projects
• Assist in designing reinforced concrete and steel structures
• Engage in field investigations and inspections
• Prepare construction documentation and specifications
• Develop reports on dam safety assessments and solutions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Active membership with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia
• Background in structural engineering is an asset
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
• Willingness to participate in fieldwork
