In this pivotal role, you will manage cost-effective structural designs from initial studies to detailed execution. You will liaise with clients and ensure project specifications align with Canadian engineering standards. Supervise junior engineers while conducting site inspections and contributing valuable reinforcement solutions based on your extensive experience in structural analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead structural designs for mining and industrial applications
• Coordinate with drafting staff for detailed drawings
• Prepare and evaluate project specifications and criteria
• Supervise engineering teams across different projects
• Perform site evaluations and inspections of structures
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer designation in BC
• 12+ years of relevant structural design experience
• Skilled in earthquake engineering and FEA modelling
• Proficient in CAD software and SAP
