Civil Designer for Hydropower Projects

Join KCB in Vancouver as a Senior Civil Designer focused on transformative hydropower and infrastructure developments. Lead innovative solutions within a multidisciplinary team.

In this key role, you will design and manage complex civil engineering projects, coordinating efforts on hydropower, transportation, and marine facilities. Your knowledge in Civil 3D and AutoCAD will be fundamental in delivering exceptional design packages that guide projects from inception through to close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct civil design initiatives for major infrastructure

• Create detailed project designs and drawing packages

• Ensure quality and accuracy of civil design outputs

• Mentor less experienced designers and drafters

• Lead project teams and manage drawing schedules

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil design

• High proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD design software

• Familiarity with BC Hydro CAD standards is an asset

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities
