Coastal Engineering Specialist at Stantec

Join Stantec's Ontario team as an Intermediate Coastal Engineer, working remotely from British Columbia. Your expertise in hydrodynamic modeling will help shape sustainable infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will support coastal engineering efforts by developing models using MIKE 21 and Telemac. Collaborating with top professionals, you will analyze and report on coastal hazards while managing project schedules. Your comprehensive technical reports will document findings for impactful environmental assessments and remedial designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hydrodynamic modeling for various engineering projects

• Assess infrastructure resilience against coastal hazards

• Prepare technical reports and documentation

• Assist in proposal development and project management

• Collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Engineering with water resources focus

• At least 5 years of consulting experience

• Familiarity with HEC-RAS and hydraulic principles

• Commitment to HSSE standards

• G-class driver’s license necessary
