We are seeking a full-time Senior or Intermediate Engineer to play a key role in the development of our company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and complex projects within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead projects related to mine water treatment and water management
- Produce engineering deliverables at the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design levels
- Design and execute R&D projects in partnership with mining companies
- Support our operations team:
Analyze operational data and provide recommendations - Define client needs, prepare service proposals, and contribute to business development
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate resources
- Degree in civil, chemical, biotechnological, environmental, or equivalent experience
- Senior Engineer: 10+ years of experience in the mining industry, in water management or water treatment
- Intermediate Engineer: 5+ years of experience in the mining industry, in water management or water treatment
- Expertise in mining water treatment: coagulation, flocculation, pH adjustment, filtration, fluidised bed bioreactors, sulphide and hydroxide precipitation, RO membranes, ozone, and cyanide destruction
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Complementary knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering for the design, fabrication, and operation of plants
- P.Eng. in British Columbia, Alberta, or another provincial or territorial engineering association
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Autonomy, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Fluency in French is an asset
Position based in one of our offices (Vancouver or Calgary), with the possibility of remote work. Occasional travel to mining sites is expected.
