WSP is hiring a Civil Engineer-in-Training to assist in innovative hydropower and dam projects. This role provides exposure to various engineering activities, from feasibility studies to detailed designs featuring reinforced concrete and steel structures. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll strengthen vital infrastructure while growing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support engineering design for hydropower infrastructure
• Assist with structural analysis for existing systems
• Participate in site assessments and inspections
• Develop technical specifications and drawings
• Contribute to dam safety and engineering reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia
• Familiarity with hydropower and water-related projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Capability for fieldwork and site evaluations
