Engineering Lead in Advanced Instrumentation

We are looking for an Engineering Lead at Scope Sys who will drive the transition from prototypes to fully operational instruments for genetic medicine analytics. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team to develop and manufacture complex hardware products. As Engineering Lead, you’ll be responsible for product service and integration of customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive development and integration of instrumentation components

• Manage manufacturing processes and documentation for repeatability

• Provide support and service for field instruments

• Oversee partnerships with product and manufacturing suppliers

• Cultivate a skilled multidisciplinary engineering team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent

• 5-10 years’ experience in hardware development and manufacturing

• Direct experience with scientific or medical instrumentation

• Proven track record with contract manufacturers

• Knowledge of design for manufacturing principles
