Aspect Biosystems is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a 12-month contract to enhance aseptic manufacturing processes in developing groundbreaking bioprinted tissue therapeutics. Your expertise will directly affect patient therapies and outcomes.
As part of the Process Development team, you'll be tasked with leading the conceptualization, design, and risk assessment of complex fluidic systems. This essential role involves collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure effective integration of cell therapy processes into final product designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and implementation of bioreactor systems
• Innovate automated workflows for cell processing
• Conduct risk assessments and process characterizations
• Support technology transfers and clinical manufacturing
• Collaborate on validation strategies with Quality teams
Requirements:
• M.S. or Ph.D. with 6-8+ years in related fields
• Strong background in cell therapy and bioprocessing
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and good practices
• Experience with risk management in device development
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
