Vancouver Structural Engineer - Site Focus

In this challenging role, you will apply your structural engineering expertise to design and reinforce various industrial structures. Responsibilities include conducting on-site inspections, performing engineering calculations, and utilizing advanced software for modeling and drafting. Your experience will help ensure that projects adhere to Canadian building standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design industrial structures including buildings and equipment supports

• Execute structural calculations manually or with software

• Create models using Autodesk Structural Robot

• Draft designs using AutoCAD and Bluebeam

• Conduct thorough inspections and audits at facilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering

• Registered Professional Engineer or eligibility in BC

• At least 5 years of experience in heavy industry engineering

• Familiarity with Canadian codes and standards

• Previous experience onsite is beneficial
