Position: Lead Systems Engineer for SkyTrain
Drive transformative engineering solutions at British Columbia Rapid Transit Company as a Lead Systems Engineer. Focus on improving Metro Vancouver’s Sky Train operations primarily from an on-site position.

In this senior role, you will leverage your Engineering degree and Professional designation (or eligibility) alongside eight years of experience in transit engineering, particularly in rolling stock and rail infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass analytical problem-solving and project oversight to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop key engineering projects for rail infrastructure

• Write and maintain technical specifications, standards, and drawings

• Address high-impact issues through advanced analytical techniques

• Train and mentor junior engineers to strengthen the team

• Ensure technical compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Professional designation eligibility

• Minimum eight years of experience in engineering for transit systems
