As a Lead Production Engineer, you will play an essential role in moving from mine development into production at Peter Lucas. This permanent position involves collaborating with various teams, ensuring that production targets are achieved while fostering a safety-oriented culture. Your focus will be on effective planning and continuous improvement in mining operations for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop production plans for safe underground mining
• Manage seamless transition to full production
• Optimize mining sequences and schedules
• Analyze production data to guide operational decisions
• Prepare performance reports for management review
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
• P.Eng registration or eligibility in BC
• 7+ years in mining engineering
• Experience in underground hard rock mining
• Proficiency in mine planning software
