Underground Mining Project Engineering Lead

Join the elite team as Lead Project Engineer in Vancouver, BC, providing technical leadership for the Panuco underground mine development. Oversee multi-discipline coordination and assure safety and quality in deliverables.

This position reports directly to the Manager, Project Engineering, and mandates a robust understanding of underground engineering. In this role, you'll bring 8-15 years of construction experience to enhance project execution and manage contractors effectively. You will focus on optimizing design while ensuring that all engineering work complies with internal standards and mining regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily engineering execution for underground projects

• Coordinate and integrate design inputs effectively

• Review and validate the technical work produced

• Identify and implement optimization initiatives

• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline required

• 8-15 years of relevant experience in project engineering

• Familiarity with underground design principles necessary

• Strong attention to detail and technical judgment

• Ability to communicate clearly across teams
