Candidates should possess a P. Eng. designation and have five years of experience related to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities include providing engineering advice, preparing warranty claims, and overseeing maintenance programs. You will also contribute by training Mechanical Engineering Co-op students to advance their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engineering support to Maintenance and Vehicle Engineering Departments
• Develop and design specifications for the Vehicle Maintenance System
• Conduct studies on fleet maintenance and performance
• Prepare documentation for warranty claims processing
• Mentor and manage Mechanical Engineering Co-op students
Requirements:
• Engineering degree with a P. Eng. designation
• Five years in the engineering field, focused on vehicle maintenance
• Experience in warranty claims and processes
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Understanding of BC Transit policies and procedures is advantageous
