As part of GHD’s expanding Dams Group, you will work on diverse dam projects both locally in Canada and globally. This role demands a well-rounded engineer skilled in dam safety and project management, taking charge of smaller projects or work packages. Your technical expertise will contribute significantly to clients' needs and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake engineering studies and designs for new and existing dams
• Support dam safety activities, including inspections and risk assessments
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and communication for projects
• Coordinate technical inputs from various engineering disciplines
• Prepare and review technical documents and project deliverables
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience in dams or related infrastructure
• Degree in Civil or related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Canada
• Broad understanding of dam engineering and safety
• Experience with various dam types and assessments
