Fluor is seeking a Senior Mechanical Plant Layout Designer to develop and revise detailed layouts for heavy industrial and mining projects. In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary EPC environment, ensuring designs meet safety, constructibility, and cost standards. Collaboration with mechanical engineers and other teams is vital for delivering high-quality design packages throughout various project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D/3D plant models with Micro Station and AutoCAD

• Create general arrangement drawings and layout plans

• Ensure safe equipment placement and maintenance clearance

• Work closely with engineers on equipment positioning

• Interpret technical vendor drawings and specifications

Requirements:

• Two-year degree and 20 years of relevant experience

• Proficient in SP3D, AutoCAD, and Micro Station

• Strong communication and technical skills

• Practical field experience

• Ability to conduct model reviews and clash checks
