ENGINEERING MANAGER (Copper Concentration)

TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an Engineering Manager to support major mining and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, drive project execution, and ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams on large-scale projects.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure safety, operability, maintainability, and constructability.
- Collaborate with discipline managers to ensure appropriate staffing and technical expertise.
- Oversee engineering deliverables to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Drive the development of efficient facility layouts and practical engineering solutions.
- Coordinate engineering activities with project controls, procurement, construction, and operations teams.
- Work with stakeholders to define project requirements and develop fit-for-purpose designs.
- Support project execution planning and overall engineering management activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 16+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Professional Engineer designation or eligibility is preferred.
- Proven experience leading engineering scopes on major mining or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong background in engineering coordination, scheduling, progress reporting, and project delivery.
- Experience with site-service buildings, industrial facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, field teams, and technical specialists.
- Practical project execution experience from concept development through commissioning.
