Municipal Infrastructure Engineer British Columbia

Lead municipal infrastructure and utility design for AtkinsRéalis across Western Canada, using civil engineering expertise and multidisciplinary coordination. This role supports projects from concept through construction.

As a Municipal Engineer, you will lead design delivery within AtkinsRéalis’ Municipal Infrastructure Group. The work includes civil and utility projects, engineering calculations, and contract packages. You will coordinate with clients, authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams while guiding engineers, interns, and CAD technicians.

• Lead civil and utility design from concept through construction
• Prepare calculations, plans, profiles, and cross-sections
• Manage design packages, budgets, schedules, standards, and quality
• Coordinate clients, authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
• Guide engineers, engineering interns, and CAD technicians

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
• Licensed British Columbia Professional Engineer designation
• Seven or more years in municipal infrastructure and utility design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Project
• Valid Driver’s License and British Columbia standards knowledge
