Adecco is currently hiring a temporary, full-time Greeters to work at one of our reputable clients. In this role you will be responsible for greeting guests and visitors. This role requires strong communication skills and at least 1-year previous experience in a customer facing role. For this position you must meet the eligibility criteria for a USA security clearance, which includes a residency requirement of a minimum of five years in Canada.
- Pay rate: $ 23.50/hour
- Location: Vancouver, BC
- Shifts:
Monday to Friday - Job type: Full-time | Temporary

- Verify applicants' documentation to ensure it is complete and in the defined order to facilitate the interview.
- Identify deficiencies in visa application papers and properly inform the applicant.
- Provide applicants with additional information or, as per direction from CSRA or the Mission/Visa Pavilion.
- Coordinate the queues of applicants into agreed upon time blocks, according to the time of their appointments.
- Ensure that the waiting time is kept to a minimum for applicants with any mental or physical limitations, such as people with disabilities, pregnant women, and/or the elderly.
- Ensure that public is treated fairly, professionally, and courteously.
- Perform document sorting, packaging, labeling, and tracking for courier pick up.
- Wear a uniform provided by CSRA that makes Supplier personnel easily identifiable to applicants and Mission/Visa Pavilion staff.
- Ensure that the uniform is clean and fits properly.
- Adhere to the security rules established by the Mission/Visa Pavilion or CSRA.
- Be alert to any evidence of fraud and report these instances to the Operations Manager.
- Respond to any crowd control emergency and alert the guards as appropriate.
- Receive applicant complaints and inform the Operations Manager.
- Receive training and become knowledgeable in areas concerning consular information service as deemed necessary by Operations Manager.
- Work intermittently outdoors to welcome applicants, review documentation and perform other crowd control functions.
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Must be willing to obtain and retain a USG security clearance
- High school diploma
- Basic Experience working with computers, printers, and Android tablets.
- Background in customer service at least 1 year.
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to communicate fluently in English. Other languages would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a changing environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to work in a large team environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
