The Role

Reporting to a Development Director, the FC Live Platform Engineering team is searching for a Development Manager (Project Manager) to manage project schedules and ensure quality, collaboration, and communication as the team advances from one project phase to the next.

Responsibilities
  • Execute project planning and management, project reporting, and risk management for the FC Live Platform Engineering team.
  • Work with Development Directors to implement processes that enable high‑quality, on‑time, on‑budget work.
  • Support the team in meeting milestones and key deliverables.
  • Identify and drive measurable process improvements to enhance delivery and execution.
  • Suggest and implement operational changes for an effective, motivated team.
  • Resolve problems, balance priorities, and craft creative solutions to achieve results.
  • Keep the team and partner teams informed on development results, schedule, and changes.
  • Manage a team of engineering direct reports, supporting their career development and growth.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management or Project Lead experience with production life cycles, processes, and project planning.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and focused on quality.
  • Excellent people‑management skills, with a track record of supporting direct reports in professional development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work with different organizational levels and tailor messaging to varied audiences.
  • Ability to rationalize decisions in a clear, objective manner.
Bonus
  • Scrum Master or Agile Coach experience.
  • Experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience with distributed development across multiple locations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and certifications.
  • Game development experience.
Pay Transparency – North America Compensation and Benefits

The ranges listed below reflect the compensation EA expects to offer applicants for this role in these locations at the time of posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay is determined by education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geography, and business needs.

Pay Ranges
  • British Columbia (Vancouver or Victoria) – 100,000 – 139,500 CAD.

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation package  British Columbia we offer vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100 % of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan to regular full‑time employees.

Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
