Position: Feature Animator for Upcoming Musical
Become a pivotal part of Industrial Light & Magic Vancouver's exciting project. As a hybrid Feature Animator, your creativity will shine in a vibrant animated film.

This position anticipates future openings for a Feature Animator to contribute to "Oh, the Places You'll Go". Collaborate with esteemed directors and experienced animators, and shape characters through musical and stylistic animation. Applicants should have a passion for storytelling and a strong animation background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring vibrant, diverse characters to life

• Execute direction from Lead Animator and Animation Supervisor

• Own shots from blocking to final polish

• Participate in determining aesthetic solutions and feedback

• Maintain production quality while meeting deadlines

Requirements:

• 3+ years in Feature Animation with relevant degree

• Expert knowledge of animation principles and acting

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Proficiency in Maya and knowledge of Linux preferred
