Senior Game Product Manager, Game Product Management - EA SPORTSTM FC
The Senior Game Product Manager’s mission, in close collaboration with cross‑functional partners, is to identify and deliver in‑game features that create more personalized and meaningful player experiences.
This role focuses on creating deeper fan experiences by building and integrating intelligent personalization solutions. You will help establish and grow fan engagement in EA SPORTS FC by shaping how players discover, engage with, and enjoy content by ensuring features are intuitive, relevant, and seamlessly adopted across the product.
Your Responsibilities:- Feature Strategy and Personalization
- Define and deliver in‑game features that enhance personalization, helping players connect with content that is relevant to their preferences and play styles.
- Identify opportunities to improve player journeys through tailored experiences, leveraging game knowledge, player behavior insights, and feature innovation.
- Collect feedback from qualitative and quantitative sources, identify key themes and align priorities with product goals.
- Use data and analytical skills to determine the value of any investment, balancing player needs with business needs to optimize return on investment.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset, taking each opportunity to improve the player experience while deeply understanding the costs and long‑term strategic vision.
- Content Planning and Activation
- Curate content plans that support feature adoption, ensuring early activations are engaging, intuitive, and aligned to player expectations.
- Leverage knowledge of the game to shape initial experiences that drive awareness and sustained usage of new features.
- Cross‑Team Collaboration
- Work closely with multiple teams across design, production, analytics, and live operations to ensure features are integrated effectively into the broader product ecosystem.
- Communicate clearly and consistently across partners to align on priorities, timelines, and execution plans.
- Measurement and Adoption
- Define and align on measurement plans with partner teams, ensuring clear success metrics and tracking mechanisms are in place.
- Take ownership of adoption strategies, ensuring features are easy for teams to implement and scale within their respective areas.
- Evaluate performance through data analysis, experimentation, and post‑launch insights to continuously improve outcomes.
- Minimum of 5 years of product management, game design, or equivalent experience (preferably in live services).
- Experience delivering player‑facing features, ideally within live‑service environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform product decisions and measure impact.
- Proven ability to define measurement frameworks and drive adoption across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining clarity and focus in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with a track record of working effectively across diverse teams.
- Previous experience in PC or mobile gaming.
- A football or EA SPORTS FC fan.
- An understanding, or willingness to learn key FC systems and their impact on the game economy.
- Clear and effective communicator across a range of stakeholders and seniority.
- Passion for continuous improvement and integrating product‑management best practices and industry standards.
- Experience with A/B testing models and data for the purposes of player‑facing design and statistical analysis.
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): $92,900 – $129,200 CAD (federal Canadian range).
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and location.
- Bonus and equity may be available for certain roles.
