What you’ll do

Epic Games is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to develop and execute a holistic global strategy for building, nurturing, and activating our player communities. This person will be a leader in the marketing organization and will work closely with other teams to drive initiatives and programs that create deep connections and engagement with our players, building long-term player value and growing the community around our games.

In

this role, you will
  • Lead the strategy and execution of global community programs and initiatives that drive player engagement and loyalty across various platforms and channels.
  • Work closely with game teams, brand, communications, and other marketing functions to ensure community strategies are integrated into overall marketing plans.
  • Manage and mentor a team of community managers, fostering a culture of player-first engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for community growth and engagement, regularly analyzing data and insights to optimize strategies and report on success.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of community guidelines, moderation policies, and crisis management protocols to ensure a safe and positive environment for players.
  • Identify and implement innovative tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance community management and player experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging community best practices to ensure Epic Games remains at the forefront of player engagement.
  • Champion the voice of the player within Epic Games, advocating for player needs and feedback to influence game development and marketing decisions.
What we are looking for
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful global community strategies for major gaming titles or entertainment brands.
  • Extensive experience in community management, digital marketing, and player engagement, with a deep understanding of online communities and social platforms.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of community professionals.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Passion for video games and a strong understanding of player motivations, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
