Located in Vancouver, BC, Respawn Entertainment is seeking an experienced VFX Artist. In this role, you’ll focus on creating dynamic visual effects for legend abilities, seasonal content, and events that energize the gameplay experience. You will work alongside Art, Design, Animation, and Engineering teams to elevate the visual quality in a fast-paced, live service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create real-time visual effects for characters and gameplay elements

• Enhance seasonal drops with impactful effects and visuals

• Work closely with cross-functional teams for quality assurance

• Troubleshoot VFX bugs and performance issues

• Optimize VFX pipelines and tools for efficiency

Requirements:

• 2+ years of VFX experience in the gaming industry

• Ability to showcase a portfolio of high-quality in-game VFX

• Proficient with DCC tools like Maya and Houdini

• Strong collaboration and feedback skills

• Passion for games and live service experience is a plus
