No Hero is a creative co-development studio specializing in beautifully crafted and brand-focused UX/UI for Video Games. We partner with some of the world’s most recognized game developers and publishers, with our Tech Artists building high quality, optimized, and compelling UI components

We're growing our team and are looking for a world-class UI Technical Artist (Full-time/Contract) to join. In this role you'll implement UI in Unreal Engine for Indie, AA, and AAA titles in Unreal Engine while using your expert experience to elevate tech art pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of UI technical art for game features. Integrate art assets and UI elements into UE5 with Blueprints.
  • Develop universal UI widgets and screen template libraries.
  • Creating data binding in UI elements through MVVM framework.
  • Building the UI materials and shaders in the game engine to support requirements from UI artists and motion designers.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
  • Provide feature breakdowns and time estimates
  • Contribute to establishing and evolving UI Technical Art best practices
  • Debug, profile, and resolve front-end issues
  • Communicate with internal and external teams
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a technical artist, or similar role, implementing UI systems.
  • Shipped one or more AAA or equivalent large-scale commercial titles
  • Experience in implementing UI art, animations and visual assets in unreal engine
  • Experience with UI architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, data driven UI, etc.)
  • Experience with UMG scripting
Nice To Haves
  • Experience working in feature driven or agile development environments
  • Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
  • Previously worked at creative agencies or co-development studios.
  • Experience implementing for PC and console games.
